It’s never a good time to have a system breakdown. At SRAC, we provide immediate 24-7 response services to minimize costly downtime. We understand that tomorrow is not always an option, which is why we offer fast, efficient and reliable service at your finger tips.

Preventative Maintenance

Preventative maintenance averts system failure through predictive maintenance. It helps to ensure your systems are running properly and to avoid inconvenient and costly system failures. It also helps to ensure end-user comfort while respecting economic considerations and allowing for proper planning for maintenance or repairs.

We offer maintenance programs for every type of system we install. We strive to support our clients as a long term partner to ensure continued satisfaction with HVAC systems and hassle-free operations and maintenance.

 24 hours a day, 7 days a week

Air Conditioning Service

We provide reliable and efficient service 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to ensure your systems are fully operational. It is our goal to provide on going support for our clients long after the initial installation.

OUR PHILOSOPHY

At SRAC, we’re committed to delivering real results. In addition to our top quality installation services, we continue to protect your investment through our preventative maintenance programs. Our preventative service programs are tailored to meet the individual needs of every client.

As part of our commitment to our clients we make it our priority to seek out new technologies in building heating and cooling solutions. In addition to conventional HVAC systems, we have gained specialized knowledge of sustainable building system solutions.

We strive to:

Increase Operational Efficiencies

Deliver Operational Savings

Prolong Equipment Life Cycles

Enhance System Reliability

Improve End-User Comfort

Cutting Edge Technologies

Variable Refrigerant Flow Systems

Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF),  Variable Refrigerant Volume (VRV) and Hybrid systems (HVRF) are premier, high efficiency, low noise, flexible, decentralized HVAC systems that use refrigerant as a direct expansion primary cooling and heating system. They can be up to 30 percent more energy efficient when compared to regular more traditional systems.

Offering advanced refrigeration and control technology, VRF systems deliver the ultimate in high performance, flexible, and efficient solutions. The impressive heat recovery system extracts and transfers heat from areas requiring cooling to those in need of heating.

The benefits are plentiful. In addition to requiring less space than traditional systems, the modular design creates optimal flexibility for different zone requirements creating better comfort for the end users. The unparalleled efficiency combined with the total heat recovery system provides an extremely cost-effective solution.

Our Sustainable Advantage

An Emphasis on Ecological Responsibility

At SRAC, we have a strong pulse on the industry and we recognize the shift toward ecological responsibility. In response to this marketplace shift, we have aligned our services to meet the needs of the industry.

We provide dedicated knowledge and specialized service that extends beyond conventional heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems. We have developed an understanding for the installation and maintenance of progressive sustainable building systems, such as Variable Refrigerant Flow Systems.

We believe that environmental stewardship is everyone’s responsibility and we’re committed to assisting our clients in achieving their goals, through seamless installations and competitive pricing.

Meet our Leadership Team

Managing Director

Tony Smith

Tony is the Managing Director of SRAC and has over 40 years of experience working in the construction industry in the United Kingdom, Europe and more recently North America, where he settled with his family in 2008. Tony has broad based but deep industry experience including working for a National Gas Utility, owning and operating a company specialising in the installation and service of the latest high efficiency HVAC equipment.  In 2008, riding the wave of VRF technology in North America, Tony joined SRAC to strengthen the team and immediately assisted with the installation of the first VRF system in BC to achieve LEED Platinum, Discovery Place. Tony was also instrumental in the creation of the successful Installation and Maintenance departments of SRAC. Today, as the Leader of Sustainable Refrigeration and Air Conditioning, Tony willingly shares his deep knowledge and experience with all members of the team and continues to create lasting partnerships with the major influencers in the VRF / VRV community. He is committed to making a lasting difference in our current environment where sustainability has never been more important.

Director of HVAC Installations

Daniel Neil

Daniel is the Director of HVAC Installations and has over 16 years of experience working as a Project Manager in both Europe and North America. Daniel has a wealth of experience, and a specialization in HVAC and refrigeration systems within sound studios. He was part of the team that installed cutting edge energy efficient systems to residential housing units in the UK, and he then went on to lead the installation team for the largest water sourced VRF system in Europe at the time. During his time in the HVAC trade in England he also gained experience working on Natural Gas combined heating and power units and completed his City and Guilds certification as an Electrician. Since moving to North America in 2008 Daniel has consulted, installed and commissioned HVAC systems for all major VRF/VRV Manufacturers, advising on the installation of a major HVAC Manufacturers training facility. He has studied Refrigeration and Air Conditioning at BCIT, is factory trained with all the major providers and is at the fore front of emerging energy efficient HVAC products. Daniel is the first point of contact at SRAC for guidance and trouble shooting in all VRF/VRV systems.

Our Projects

In addition to conventional HVAC systems, we have gained specialized knowledge of sustainable building system solutions. Here are a few of our recent projects.

Discovery Green Building 12

Discovery Green Building 12 - 1
Discovery Green Building 12

The Discovery Green project represents one of the most sustainable buildings of its type ever built. Recognizing that a healthy indoor environment is critical for future office spaces, the design of this project focused on improved occupancy comfort levels. This 150,000 sq. ft., five story office building focuses on increasing productivity, performance and social responsibility for the high- tech industry.

Sustainable Refrigeration and Air Conditioning provided HVAC Construction Services, installed and commissioned 24 Mitsubishi Electric Heat Recovery VRF (variable refrigerant flow) Condensing Units and 175 Low Noise Fan Coil Units Innovative. This system offers simultaneous heating and cooling, exact temperature control, and total heat recovery, resulting in an estimated 40% reduction in energy consumption.
