Tony is the Managing Director of S-RAC and has over 40 years of experience working in the construction industry in the United Kingdom, Europe and more recently North America, where he settled with his family in 2008. Tony has broad based but deep industry experience including working for a National Gas Utility, owning and operating a company specialising in the installation and service of the latest high efficiency HVAC equipment.  In 2008, riding the wave of VRF technology in North America, Tony joined S-RAC to strengthen the team and immediately assisted with the installation of the first VRF system in BC to achieve LEED Platinum, Discovery Place. Tony was also instrumental in the creation of the successful Installation and Maintenance departments of S-RAC. Today, as the Leader of Sustainable Refrigeration and Air Conditioning, Tony willingly shares his deep knowledge and experience with all members of the team and continues to create lasting partnerships with the major influencers in the VRF / VRV community. He is committed to making a lasting difference in our current environment where sustainability has never been more important.

The Watershed Centre is a multi-functional facility that integrates the operations and educational programming of Metro Vancouver’s Watersheds Environmental Management Division. The building houses watershed staff and welcomes visitors to the natural reserve that supplies drinking water to the region; On the west side, the multi-purpose room opens to an outdoor classroom connecting to the exterior educational features, with the administrative offices on the east.   

S-RAC installed and commissioned a 14.0-Ton Mitsubishi VRF System with 1 branch box and 12 fan coils. 

Brewery District Building Seven by Wesgroup Properties is a 32-storey mixed-use tower located in New Westminster. This project offers 225 market condominiums, comprised of 24 studio units, 98 one-bedroom units, 71 two-bedroom units, and 32 three-bedroom units. The redevelopment of this nine-acre property is transforming the former site of Labatt’s Brewery into a dynamic mix of residential high-rises, shops, and office buildings that supports the needs of a diverse neighbourhood. 

S-RAC provided HVAC construction services, installed and commissioned 33 Daikin VRV heat recovery systems with 362 fan coils for the residential suites; as well as 7 Daikin single split systems, 4 Daikin dual-zone systems , and 1 Daikin four-zone system for the common and commercial areas. 

The Discovery Green project represents one of the most sustainable buildings of its type ever built. Recognizing that a healthy indoor environment is critical for future office spaces, the design of this project focused on improved occupancy comfort levels. This 150,000 sq. ft., five story office building focuses on increasing productivity, performance and social responsibility for the high- tech industry.

S-RAC provided HVAC Construction Services, installed and commissioned 24 Mitsubishi Electric Heat Recovery VRF (variable refrigerant flow) Condensing Units and 175 Low Noise Fan Coil Units Innovative. This system offers simultaneous heating and cooling, exact temperature control, and total heat recovery, resulting in an estimated 40% reduction in energy consumption.

Located at 2450 Alpha Avenue in Burnaby, BC, this project will target LEED Silver equivalency. The development will be 27 stories high including private roof penthouse terraces. The development includes 170 residential units with 157,000 sq. ft. gross area with four townhomes and below and above grade parking for 173 cars.

S-RAC provided HVAC installationing and Commissioining Services to this project. Installing 15 Daikin Air Cooled 3 Pipe Heat Recovery Condensing Units with 188 Low Profile Fan Coil Units.
